I think it is safe to say that Christmas is our family's favorite time of the year. All of us! We love everything about it. The lights, the food, the tree, the food, the stockings, the food, even the craziness of everything, and of course, the food. This Christmas was fun for us due to the fact that as I've posted earlier Trent was old enough to take part in many different Christmas events. The last one is definitely my favorite. The third grade always is in charge of the Christmas chapel. This year Trent was chosen to play the role of Joseph. It didn't involve much acting but he did sing a solo about what Joseph must have been thinking that night in Bethlehem. I have to admit, seeing my little boy, dressed as Joseph, singing such an amazing song, I did have to blink away the tears as I took these pictures. Mary was played by his lifelong friend, and cutey-patootey, Ansley Moore.
We also got to enjoy spending Christmas morning at my mom's house. This was the first year in a long time that all of us were at her house for Christmas morning. My brother and his wife flew in from South Korea where he is stationed to be there. The kids loved being around all the cousins and there was plenty of Wii playing by all. Here are a few pictures to mark the occasion.
We have also been celebrating the last half of this vacation with Tom's family. We received Rock Band 2 and have been practicing that. Trent also spent his fist New Year's Eve staying up until midnight to welcome in 2009.

We have had a very blessed Christmas and we are looking forward to all the things that 2009 holds in store for us! May the Lord bless you and your family this year!
